An easement is a formal contract, establishing a right, held by one person to make specific, limited use of land owned by another person. An easement is granted by the owner of the property for the convenience, or ease, of the person using the property. Common easements include the right to pass across the property, the right to construct and maintain a roadway across the property, the right to construct a pipeline under the land, or a power line over the land.

Estimating

Estimating is the process of calculating the cost of a project. There are two types of estimating.

  1. An accurate estimating is a formal and exact process during which a professional project manager, assigned by your home improvement company, will learn your needs and wishes and will measure and calculate the cost and timeline for the project.
  2. A "ballpark" estimate. This is a simple and faster estimate where costs for a certain project are calculated based on your requirement but without taking measures. This type of estimate will provide you with or a quick approximate estimate for your project. Many homeowners use this type of estimate to save time while considering the profitability of a project

Exhaust Ventilation

Exhaust ventilation is the mechanical removal of air from a portion of a building (e.g., from a bathroom fan, kitchen range hood, clothes dryer or central exhaust fan. Air is removed through the ducts and is released outside the house. Exhaust ventilation is important to allow air circulation and to control humidity.
